STUDIO PRINCIPAL / HEAD TEACHER

​Originally from Sydney, Nicole started dancing at age 6, as a young Ballet dancer completing her British Ballet Organisation (BBO) dance exams and soon found herself exploring other dance styles such as Jazz, Tap and Lyrical. She took the professional leap into the industry completing her full-time Diploma in Performing Arts at ED5International in 2014, and has since expanded her knowledge in all aspects of Performing Arts.

Nicole has 24 years of dance experience, and a successful career in the professional world of Performing Arts including dancing, acting and modelling. Nicole appeared on "Home and Away", modelled for "Fantastic Furniture" and cat-walked in the runway show for corporate fashion designer "Karen Gee". Nicole has danced along side Rhonda Burchmore and Leo Sayer, danced at the "Sensation Festival of Life" at Spotless Stadium alongside globally recognised DJ's such as Deadmau5. Nicole appeared in Moana star Olivia Foa'i's Music Video "Hau La" and in 2019 had the privilege of dancing at New York City's very famous "Broadway Dance Center". Most recently, Nicole has appeared in the TV Show NCIS Australia.

Nicole has been teaching for over 13 years with her talents taking her all around Australia. She has a strong technical influence on her teaching methods and teaches all styles for all ages from Tiny Tots to Adults.

In 2024, Nicole graduated with the Royal Academy of Dance "Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies", and can't wait for the further opportunities this will provide for NDF students! Nicole prides herself on running a positive and supportive learning environment where everyone feels they can openly express their love for dance in a safe and loving environment.

ACROBATICS TEACHER

Mr Rory is our NEW ACRO TEACHER! He has performed with The Wiggles at the Brisbane

Performing Arts Centre, Ballet Theatre Queensland in their production of ‘Coppeilia’, and several

corporate events. Most recently he performed at the Sydney Opera House with Ballet International

Gala in their ‘A Christmas Spectacular’ performance. Mr Rory moved to Sydney this year to commence

full time training with ED5 International to obtain his Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts. He is

extremely excited to work with the students at NDF to help them progress with their acrobatic skills!

HIP-HOP TEACHER

Miss Tiara is our NEW HIP-HOP TEACHER! She has been dancing for 16 years and started teaching

in high school as Dance Captain for contemporary in 2017 and Jazz in 2018. She found her love for

Hip-Hop and Commercial dance in 2016 competing in Bring It On Dance and then joined KCC

(Kingdom Culture Company) late 2018. Miss Tiara graduated ED5 International in 2023 under the

guidance of William A. Forsythe and attained an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts.

RECEPTION & ADMIN

We are so lucky to have Miss Sylvana as our Receptionist and Head of Admin at Nicole's Dance Factory. You can find Miss Sylvana at NDF Monday through to Saturday and at special studio events such as Concerts, Fetes and Rehearsals. Miss Sylvana has experience working in Childcare and in Reception and Admin making her the perfect addition to Team NDF!
